Serax is the company created by SERge and AXel Van Den Bossche, two brothers who, as children, were immersed in their mother's flowerpot business. What started in 1986 as a small business in a garage has become in twenty years a multinational company based in Antwerp and employing over 65 people. Today it is managed by Axel, whose wife Marie Michielssen is the designer. She is responsible for the famous 'Cactus Vase', among other things. Serax has remained a family business with a DNA code of passion. Working with designers, new or renowned, is another fundamental character trait of Serax. The modest collaboration with Peter Arts that began in 1990 sparked a revolution in the interior design sector. A year later, Serax took on an international dimension by collaborating with floral artist Daniel Ost, who designed 'The Flower Booth' for Serax, presented at the French design fair Maison & Objet.
