Patrick Norguet

Patrick Norguet (born in France in 1969) made his name as a designer in the late 1990s. With his sense of color, formal restraint and elegant simplicity, combined with his character and his lifelong quest for comfort, it's no wonder that he began designing for Artifort in 2002. That was the year he designed the famous Apollo chair, which was followed by several other successful pieces. Various museums around the world have included his designs in their collections. Norguet also owes his fame to the decoration of high-class offices, Okko hotels and the McDonalds restaurant on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. In 2014, GQ Magazine voted him Designer of the Year 2014.
