Guillaume Dunan

It all started much earlier in high school where, fascinated by craftsmanship and design, I went to a professional high school where I learned the trade of carpenter / cabinetmaker. Surrounded by rigorous teachers who had studied at the prestigious BOULLE School, they were able to pass on to me the love of woodworking from design to production. These are the same teachers who pushed me to continue my studies in the field of global design after four years of study and a professional baccalaureate diploma in my pocket. Inspired by the contemporary Japanese architecture which integrates with lightness the wood as main building material, I always admired architects who marked their time like Kengo KUMA or Sou FUJIMOTO, as well in the sector of the contemporary architecture as in that of the furniture.

It is thus influenced by these renowned architects that I naturally turned to interior design studies, completing my knowledge in architecture firms creating their own line of furniture. I had the chance to work on various projects in the south of France, Montreal and Monaco. Largely influenced by these passionate professionals who trained me, I launched my own adventure 4 years ago by self-publishing my pieces that I design and co-produce with Italian or French artisans from my region. Wanting to put my person in each piece I design, I assist in the design of each of them, from the study phase to their exit from the workshop.
