Excellence in craftsmanship
De Sede originated in a small, skilled saddlery workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. There, the craftsmen are committed to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. Their years of experience and diligence have created leather furniture of exceptional quality.
In 1965, the family business became a joint stock company called de Sede AG, but remained true to its original guiding principles. From that point on, the company grew rapidly: top designers of international caliber were recruited to create seating, additional manufacturing facilities were opened, and an international distribution network was established. Sophisticated designs that skillfully incorporate traditional and precise Swiss craftsmanship quickly earned the brand an international reputation.
Today, de Sede AG presents itself as a leading manufacturer of exclusive leather furniture. From its small original workshop, the company has grown to employ more than 110 people and distribute furniture to more than 69 countries, including the United States and Russia, the GCC countries and even emerging markets such as China and Brazil. With unique leather products, de Sede awakens the senses of people around the world, turning heads with every creation. Each of the master craftsmen in the workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland, answers this call.
