Arthur Vallin

Always seeking a new balance between form and space, innovative manufacturing processes and visual impact, multidisciplinary creative director Arthur Vallin holds a master's degree in art direction from the renowned Penninghen Design Academy. In 2012, he joined Harley & Company as a partner to develop the creative department. He has expanded the design studio's capabilities by creating award-winning projects ranging from immersive experiences to digital reinvention to campaigns.

His "Collectible design" line is a new way for him to experiment with forms and materials. Like his Chubby Stool, which he creates in a variety of materials, his inspiration comes from the work of Colombian artist Fernando Botero. From reflection to design, he tends to get an idea of what is feasible with a specific material that will fit a predefined shape, all made in France.
